Description
San Bernardino County on behalf of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is seeking proposals from interested and qualified proposers to provide taxi transportation to certain patients of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. The services will enable ARMC to provide patients that lack proper transportation a way to be safely discharged from the hospital to their home or other designated locations. The services will also enable ARMC to provide certain patients with transportation to/from its Clinics.
• The Proposer that is awarded a contract in response to this RFP shall provide adequate staffing to provide transportation of patients from ARMC to a location specified by ARMC staff.
• The Proposer shall be responsible for all service and labor expenses for all vehicles and personnel utilized in the transport of ARMC patients.
• The Proposer shall provide taxi services for discharged ARMC patients as referred by ARMC to patient’s home or other location as directed by ARMC staff, transporting no more than one patient at a time.
• The Proposer shall ensure that the vehicles utilized by the drivers performing the services under the Contract be able to appropriately accommodate and transport all patient and patient equipment.
