Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking a contractor to provide legal document messenger services in various counties in California. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, travel, and incidentals necessary to provide messenger services to Caltrans. The services include filing legal documents with State and Federal courts, e-filing, fax filing, and personal delivery to courts, agencies, and law firms, as well as subpoena preparation and service. The contractor must have a valid Motor Carrier Permit issued from the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and at least five years of experience providing similar services.
• The contractor will be required to provide services in Los Angeles, Ventura, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Imperial, and Orange counties.
• The contractor must have a valid Motor Carrier Permit issued from the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
• The contractor must have at least five years of experience providing similar services.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements.
• The contractor must provide proof of insurance and maintain adequate insurance coverage throughout the term of the agreement.
