The Alabama Department of Human Resources is seeking qualified HVAC contractors to provide preventive‑maintenance (PM) and repair services for all of its county office HVAC equipment during a three‑month period in 2026. The contract will be awarded as a Quick‑Quote purchase order, with a unit‑price bid covering one comprehensive PM visit per location and separate repair quotes as needed. Contractors must hold Alabama HVAC, refrigeration, and gas‑fitter licenses, EPA Section 608 certification, and water‑treatment certification for the eleven counties that use water‑based systems. The work must be completed between July 1 2026 and September 30 2026, with all repairs also finished by the September 30 deadline.
• Scope: Full preventive‑maintenance (filter replacement, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks, belt/pump lubrication, boiler checks, water‑treatment testing, etc.) plus on‑site repair quoting and execution.
• Eligibility: Only vendors that attended the mandatory round‑1 site visit may bid; suppliers must provide proof of all required state licenses and EPA certifications.
