Description
The South Carolina State University (SCSU) seeks a vendor to provide a comprehensive uniform rental program for its facilities staff. The contractor will supply brand‑new uniforms, handle laundering, repair, replacement, measurement, inventory control, and weekly delivery/pick‑up for approximately 92 employees across custodial, grounds, auxiliary, and maintenance teams. All work is performed on‑site at the university campus, with the contractor retaining ownership of the garments and bearing all routine maintenance costs.
• Provide new uniforms (100 % cotton or polyester/cotton blend) with SCSU logo and name patches at no extra charge.
• Perform weekly pick‑up and delivery, inspect garments, repair or replace as needed, and maintain detailed inventory records.
• Offer measurement services (at least one male and one female measurer) and manage lost/damaged garment replacement.
• Deliver services for a one‑year term (approximately 30 June 2026 – 29 June 2027) under a fixed‑price, unit‑price schedule, with a total contract ceiling of $48,000.
