Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Transportation Cabinet is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for the District 7 Office in Lexington, Kentucky. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to renew for additional years. The contractor will be responsible for providing labor, equipment, materials, and supplies to perform custodial services, including daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual tasks. The contractor must also provide a monthly janitorial inspection report and ensure that all employees have undergone a background check.
* Daily tasks include sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, and emptying trash.
* Weekly tasks include dusting and cleaning windows.
* Monthly tasks include deep cleaning of tile work and vacuuming furniture.
* Semi-annual tasks include cleaning carpets and washing windows.
* Annual tasks include top scrubbing and waxing floors, washing blinds, and washing light fixtures.
The contractor must also ensure that all employees are at least 18 years old and have signed a confidentiality agreement.
