Health Care Delivery Solutions (HCDS) Electronic Health Record Follow-on (MHS GENESIS)

The Health Care Delivery Solutions (HCDS) Electronic Health Record (EHR) Follow-on (MHS GENESIS) is a request for information (RFI) from the Defense Health Agency (DHA). The purpose of this RFI is to gather feedback from industry partners on the updated contract strategy and timelines for the MHS GENESIS recompete. The DHA is planning to host an industry day to provide updates on the MHS GENESIS recompete, including the target timeline for solicitation(s) and key areas where the Government will seek industry engagement. The contract strategy focuses on keeping pace with commercial technology advancements, reducing the timeline required to compete follow-on efforts, and improving efficiency in the delivery of healthcare. The RFI is for planning purposes only and does not constitute an RFP or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. Some key points to consider: • The Government is planning to award a multiple award IDIQ for deployment services. • The contract strategy focuses on keeping pace with commercial technology advancements and reducing the timeline required to compete follow-on efforts. • The Government is evaluating a 1-year base with four (4) 1-year options for a total of five years. • The offeror is responsible for providing a technical approach to the contractual requirement to meet the objectives, outcomes, SLAs, etc. • The Government defines the requirements, and vendors propose solutions to meet those needs.
