Description
The State of Hawaii, Department of Health, is seeking a contractor to purchase and install four new HVAC units in Kalaupapa, Molokai. The contractor will be responsible for removing the existing units and installing the new ones, which must meet all applicable manufacturer, federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and standards. The contractor will also be required to provide a written recommendation of the replacement HVAC units, including all required parts, components, accessories, refrigerant, installation, taxes, fees, and shipping to Kalaupapa, Molokai.
• The contractor must provide as-built documentation or submittal data sheets of the recommended HVAC units.
• The contractor must ensure compatibility with the existing power supply.
• The contractor must include the costs of removal and installation in the written proposal.
• The contractor must provide a minimum one-year parts and labor warranty, plus manufacturer’s extended warranty on compressors.
• The contractor must deliver operation and maintenance manuals, and warranty certificates.
