Mobile Mammogram Services at FCI Waseca

The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Waseca, MN, is seeking a responsible entity to provide Mobile Mammogram Services, including equipment and a technician, for a base year and four option years. The services will be performed at FCI Waseca, and the contractor will be required to provide digital mammography services, including evaluation of patients, performance of digital breast screening mammograms, and provision of professional interpretations. The contractor must possess certification by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and accreditation by the American College of Radiology. The contractor's employees must have graduated from a two-year radiography program, hold a valid certificate from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified. • The contractor will be scheduled to perform on-site mammograms for the female inmate population at FCI Waseca. • A session is defined as one hour, and the contractor will normally provide eight sessions per day, 5 days per week, excluding Federal Holidays. • The contractor will be responsible for receiving patients, explaining procedures, submitting reports, and following directives from the Clinical Director, HSA, and COR. • The contractor must maintain an open line of communication with the Clinical Director, HSA, and COR. • The contractor will be required to attend the Institution Familiarization Orientation program prior to assuming institution involvement.
