Description
Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive translation and interpretation services for its schools and district offices. The contractor will support non‑English‑language‑background families and staff with in‑person, virtual, phone, and email interpretation, as well as rapid document translation, emergency‑card updates, and parent‑engagement outreach. Services are to be delivered on an as‑needed basis over a multi‑year term (up to five years) with a 120‑day offer validity period.
• Provide in‑person and virtual interpretation for parent meetings, IEP conferences, school events, and walk‑ins across 20‑30 schools.
• Translate district and school documents (letters, notices, policies) with 24‑48‑hour turnaround.
• Maintain detailed logs, coordinate with the Office of English Learners, and support emergency‑card data updates.
• Must have staff fluent in at least two languages, culturally competent, and capable of using video‑conference platforms.
• Pricing submitted via Exhibit A cost spreadsheet; lowest evaluated cost receives the most points (35 pts) in a cost‑weighted evaluation.
