Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance, repair, and replacement services for security‑video equipment across four major Bay Area tunnels. The work includes routine inspections, 24‑hour response repairs, full system component replacement, coordination with traffic‑control staff, and detailed documentation and reporting. The contract is a three‑year, public‑works competitive bid, with an optional one‑year extension for additional funding.
• Provide all labor, tools, parts, supplies, vehicles, and incidentals for CCTV system upkeep at Devil’s Slide, Caldecott, Posey & Webster, and Doyle Drive tunnels.
• Must hold a California C‑10 Electrical Contractor license, a valid DMV Motor Carrier Permit, and DIR registration; also required technical certifications (VMWare, Microsoft, BVMS, Cisco/Hirschmann, etc.).
• Submit a sealed bid by 2:00 PM PDT on June 18, 2026; bid evaluation will be based on lowest responsive and responsible offer, with small‑business and DVBE preferences applied.
