Scrub Dispense and Return Machine Services: Wilmington VAMC

The Wilmington Veterans Affairs Medical Center (WVAMC) is seeking a contractor to provide surgical scrub dispensing and return machine services. The contractor will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and stocking three automated scrub dispensing machines and two automated return units. The machines will be located throughout the WVAMC, and the contractor will provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials to manage the scrub rental program. The contractor will also be responsible for laundering and restocking the scrubs, as well as providing a loss/replacement program. The estimated period of performance is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with four one-year options. • The contractor will provide all resources necessary to install and maintain the automated scrub dispensing machines and return units. • The contractor will provide a rental program for scrub pants, shirts, and jackets, and will deliver disinfected, sterilized, and cleaned scrubs within 24 hours to the facility. • The contractor will track the weekly use of garments and provide a report of items serviced upon request. • The contractor will have the ability to custom tailor garments to fit staffing size needs and requirements.
