Description
The US Army is seeking a contractor to provide catering meals for the 1st Squadron 150th Cavalry Regiment at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. The contractor will be responsible for providing all subsistence, paper goods, and labor required to accomplish meal preparation in accordance with the Statement of Work. The meals will be delivered to designated buildings on Fort Barfoot, and the Government will distribute the meals to personnel. The contractor must have a valid NIST assessment completed to be considered for evaluation and award. The period of performance is from May 6, 2026, to May 18, 2026. Some key requirements include:
* Providing 3,250 breakfast meals and 3,250 dinner meals over a 13-day period
* Delivering meals to designated buildings on Fort Barfoot
* Using fresh ingredients and maintaining proper food safety and handling procedures
* Providing disposable service items such as plates, utensils, and napkins
* Ensuring that all contractor employees have food handler training and wear proper attire, including head covers and closed-toe shoes
* Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to food safety and handling.
