Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a Tire Derived Fuel Consultant to assist with the administration of a scrap tire management program, including developing markets for waste tire derived products. The consultant will provide guidance and assistance on general waste tire management issues, track TDF usage, maintain relationships with TDF users, and forecast potential changes in TDF usage. The consultant will also assist in promoting new TDF markets, collecting and interpreting data on waste tire generation, and assisting in the development of the Cabinet's annual Waste Tire Report. Some key responsibilities include:
• Track TDF usage in Kentucky and maintain relationships with all TDF users in Kentucky
• Assist the Cabinet in promoting new TDF markets and growth of existing TDF markets
• Collect and interpret data on waste tire generation in Kentucky and assist in the development of the Cabinet's annual Waste Tire Report
• Assist the Cabinet in a periodic tour of all waste tire processors and end users in Kentucky and provide a written report on the status of all processors and end users
• Assist the Cabinet in special projects to promote TDF use and general waste tire recycling
