The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is conducting market research to identify qualified and capable sources to perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Unscheduled Repair Services for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) at designated commissary groups and store locations. The current requirement includes services at the following DeCA locations: Group 17 (Maryland): Andrew AFB, Annapolis NAS, and Fort Meade. Interested vendors are encouraged to submit a capability package that includes company information, business size and socioeconomic status, and a brief capability statement summarizing relevant experience with MHE preventive maintenance and repair services.
• The MHE equipment includes pallet jacks, forklifts, and battery chargers.
• Vendors should identify their geographic service coverage and indicate whether they can support one or both of the groups listed.
• Respondents are invited to provide comments, concerns, or recommendations regarding the draft requirement.
• Vendors located within or near the designated service areas are especially encouraged to respond, as their input will help DeCA assess the availability of local sources.
