Description
The Executive Office of Education is seeking quotes for accessibility services to support EOE and EOE agencies. The goal of this RFQ is to solicit quotes from ITS82 Category A-E vendors for ongoing accessibility services. Bidders can submit proposals for one or more categories of work, for which they are qualified under ITS82. The scope of work includes audit services, consulting services, document remediation/testing, training services, and transcription/description services. The successful bidder will be required to provide accessibility testing and remediation of all EEC, CT, and DHE website content, as well as provide training services to train technical, management, and general staff in accessibility requirements and techniques.
• The initial scope of work requires the successful Bidder to provide accessibility testing and remediation of all EEC, CT, and DHE web content.
• The successful Bidder will be responsible for conducting thorough audits of all existing web pages, including videos and other multimedia content, and posted files for accessibility compliance.
• The successful Bidder will be required to remediate such defects so that the files comply with the EOTSS Accessibility Standards.
• The successful Bidder will be required to submit to EOE a written report documenting the findings of the initial assessment for each agency and the steps taken for remediation.
