Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance and repair services for the Parata medication packager at the Harry S Truman VA Medical Center. The contractor will be responsible for providing full 24/7/365 support service coverage for all equipment associated with the Parata medication packager, including after-warranty coverage on all parts, installation, calibration, labor, and travel necessary to bring all listed modalities to manufacture operating specifications. The contract will be for a period of one year, from 12/01/2025 to 11/30/2026. The key responsibilities of the contractor include:
• Providing routine maintenance as required by the Truman VA Pharmacy Informatics Manager and the OEM specifications for Parata systems
• Responding to service calls within 30 minutes and providing on-site support within 24 hours
• Providing full scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair, including all replacement parts, labor, travel expenses, telephone technical support, remote on-line support, tools, test equipment, and other incidentals necessary to maintain and/or restore the equipment
• Cooperating with VA in any civil litigation to recover VA information, obtain monetary or other compensation from a third party for damages arising from any incident, or obtain injunctive relief against any third party arising from, or related to, the incident
