Description
The Newark Board of Education (NBOE) is seeking a contractor to provide audio and visual design, installation, and repair services for upgrading school auditoriums, broadcast studios, and recording studios. The contractor will be responsible for coordinating with the District's identified state contract and/or cooperative purchasing vendor to obtain written quotations for items that require installation, replacement, or repair. The contractor will also provide professional installation and/or repair services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, District standards, and all applicable codes.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Reviewing the scope of each job and identifying all required components or materials
• Obtaining a written quote from the District's designated vendor and providing it to the District
• Communicating with the District's Lead to confirm equipment specifications, compatibility, and availability prior to installation
• Providing professional installation and/or repair services
