Off-Site Tele-Radiology Services for the Asheville VA Medical Center

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide off-site tele-radiology services to the Asheville VA Medical Center. The contractor will be required to provide Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiology Physician Services in accordance with the specifications contained in the solicitation. The services will include the interpretation of radiology images and the communication of diagnostic imaging results to the VA. The contractor will be required to have an existing National IT Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in place and meet or exceed VA and American College of Radiology Guidelines. • The contract will be for a base year with four one-year options. • The contractor will be required to provide services remotely. • The contractor will be required to have a current license to practice medicine in the state where services are being performed. • The contractor will be required to be Board Certified. • The contractor will be required to have credentialing and privileging done in accordance with VHA Directive 1100.20 and VHA Directive 1100.21. • The contractor will be required to provide a copy of its policy and procedures for credentialing and privileging to the Contracting Officer and COR for review.
