RFP 2026000054 Contract Pharmacy

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is seeking a contract pharmacy to provide walk-in service, shipping, and/or delivery of medications to clients enrolled in the State Drug Assistance Program (SDAP). The successful offeror will be required to provide on-site and mail contract pharmacy services using a "direct purchase and restock" methodology. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for an additional year. The offeror must have experience providing pharmacy services, working with the SDAP program, and working with residents living with STI/HIV/VH. The offeror must also have a state license to provide pharmacy services in Colorado, be registered with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and be a Medicaid provider. • The contract pharmacy will be required to provide local access points for clients who reside in Denver as well as outside the Denver metropolitan area. • The offeror must have the ability to provide services in one or more of the following regional service areas: Boulder, Northern, Southern, Western, and Denver Transitional Grant Area (TGA). • The offeror must vigorously pursue Medicaid enrollment for individuals likely to be Medicaid eligible and seek payment from Medicaid when a covered medication is provided to a Medicaid beneficiary. • The offeror must also back bill Medicaid for medications provided to Medicaid eligible clients when Medicaid eligibility is determined.
