Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide specialized support to the National Radiation Oncology Program (NROP) office to evaluate, update, expand, and sustain Clinical Quality Measures (CQMs) used for surveillance of radiotherapy quality across the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). The contractor will apply established, evidence-based methods to assess radiotherapy practice quality, identify care gaps, support the adoption of current national guidelines, and facilitate continuous quality improvement. The period of performance shall be September 30, 2026, through September 29, 2031, with four 12-month option periods. Some key tasks include:
• Evaluating existing measure sets to determine update priorities
• Convening Subject Matter Expert (SME) panels to develop or revise measure sets
• Defining and updating evidence-based performance expectations for each CQM
• Developing and updating scoring logic for each CQM
• Providing ongoing support for the VHA-ROQS program.
