Description
The Ohio Department of Public Safety / Bureau of Motor Vehicles is soliciting bidders for janitorial services at the New Philadelphia Driver Exam Station. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing janitorial services 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, excluding state holidays, after business hours. The scope of work includes daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning restrooms, and performing floor care. The contractor must also provide equipment, supplies, and personnel to perform the required tasks.
Some key tasks and responsibilities include:
• Providing janitorial services for the customer service and office/employee areas
• Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and urinals
• Performing floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, and stripping and waxing floors
• Providing carpet cleaning services, including hot water extraction and low moisture cleaning
• Providing tile cleaning services, including sweeping, dust mopping, and applying cleaning solutions and sealants
The contractor must also comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and follow the standards and procedures outlined in the contract.
