Deployment of AMI Smart Meters

The Greenville Electric Utility System (GEUS) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the installation of Advanced Metering infrastructure (AMI) smart meters. The contractor will be responsible for the installation of AMI smart meters, associated documentation, activation, and data entry necessary for accurate billing continuity. The contractor must have experience in providing AMI installation services to the electric utility market for at least 5 years and have completed at least 1 million meter exchanges. The contractor must also have a Work Order Management System that can integrate with Tyler Technologies Incode. • The contractor will be required to provide a detailed listing of all products and services provided. • The contractor will be required to provide references for at least 10 AMI System Installation projects. • The contractor will be required to provide a copy of their standard contract terms and conditions. • The contractor will be required to provide pricing for all elements of the project, including the price per meter for standard meter exchange, forms 1S and 2S, form 4S, form 9S, form 16S, return to utility (RTU) fees, work order management system setup and configuration, and any additional data integration fees.
