Description
The U.S. Embassy Helsinki is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for its real property in Helsinki, Finland. The services include daily, bi-weekly, and monthly cleaning of various areas, such as offices, bathrooms, and common spaces. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary equipment, supplies, and personnel to perform the work. The contract will be for a one-year period, from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027.
Some key responsibilities of the contractor include:
• Performing janitorial services in all designated spaces, including halls, offices, restrooms, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, elevators, and stairways
• Furnishing all managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel necessary to accomplish the work
• Maintaining schedules and providing quality control
• Complying with all laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations required to perform the work
• Providing evidence of insurance and obtaining any necessary licenses and permits
