The City of Hampton is seeking bids from responsive and responsible bidders to furnish and deliver uniforms to the Hampton Police Division on an as-needed basis. The contract will be for a term of one year, with the option to extend for up to four additional one-year periods. The bidder must provide firm unit pricing for each item listed in the pricing sheet, and prices may be increased for renewal periods, but not more than 3% or the percentage change in the Consumer Price Index. The successful bidder will be required to measure and fit uniforms quarterly, and provide qualified personnel to measure and fit employees for proper sizes. The bidder must also have a facility within a 20-mile radius of Hampton, or agree to send personnel to the City for fitting services.
• The contract includes a wide range of uniform items, including shirts, pants, jackets, hats, and accessories.
• The bidder must provide high-quality, new items that meet the City's specifications.
• The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to negotiate with the apparent low bidder if necessary.
