Description
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services, on behalf of the Iowa Veterans Home, is issuing a competitive Request for Bids for the rental, delivery, maintenance, and support of respiratory and sleep‑therapy equipment and related services. The contract will run for one year starting November 1 2026 with the possibility of up to five annual renewals, and will be available to all Iowa state agencies and eligible political subdivisions. Bidders must meet extensive licensing, certification, and insurance requirements and provide a “rent‑to‑own” option for certain equipment.
• Provide rental of oxygen tanks, liberators, concentrators, BiPAP/CPAP machines, ventilators, and related consumables.
• Supply liquid oxygen (LOX) refills, on‑site installation, training by certified respiratory therapists, preventive maintenance, 24‑hour on‑call service, and emergency delivery within 2 hours.
• Submit required certifications (Iowa Wholesale Drug License, CSA registration, scale calibration) and agree to FOB Destination freight‑prepaid terms.
