The contract is expected to last for 36 months, from December 1, 2025, to December 1, 2028. The vendor must have existing infrastructure, facilities, and interconnection agreements in place to avoid delays or costly rebuilds.
• The services must be available statewide, including rural and hard-to-reach areas.
• The vendor must maintain all existing circuits and configurations without interruption.
• The vendor must allow for circuit transfers and continuation of 36-month commitments previously established under expiring contracts.
• The vendor must provide provisions for decommissioning legacy circuits as modernization projects complete, without early termination penalties.
