Description
The Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to provide one‑time preventive‑maintenance (PM) and minor‑repair services for all DHR HVAC equipment across the state. The work must be performed between July 1 2026 and September 30 2026, with each location receiving a single PM visit and any identified repairs addressed before the contract end date. Vendors must hold Alabama HVAC, refrigeration, and gas‑fitter licenses, and all technicians handling refrigerants must possess EPA Section 608 certification. The scope includes filter replacement, coil cleaning, belt and pulley checks, electrical inspections, drain cleaning, boiler and chiller inspections, and water‑treatment reporting for water‑based systems in 11 counties. Comprehensive documentation (photos, signed inspection forms, repair quotes, EPA reports) is required for each service. Only vendors that attended the mandatory site visit in Round 1 are eligible to bid.
