CUP Boiler Repair Services - Pre Solicitation Notice

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide boiler repair services. The contractor will be responsible for repairing high-pressure steam boilers, including tasks such as replacing water column piping, blowdown valves, and fuel tank filtering. The contractor must have a minimum of 10 years of experience repairing high-pressure boilers and must have an ASME "R" stamp certification. The period of performance for this project is 220 days from the signing of the Notice to Proceed. • The contractor will provide all supervision, labor, materials, tools, and equipment to complete the work. • The contractor will be solely responsible for the work schedule and quality. • The contractor will provide drawings/datasheets of new equipment/materials to be installed. • The contractor will provide equipment/material brochures and cut sheets of all proposed equipment. • The contractor will independently verify all conditions and supply all identified equipment or material.
