Illumina MiSEQ & NovaSeq Instruments Service Agreements

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is seeking to establish a service agreement with Illumina, Inc. for the maintenance and repair of Illumina MiSEQ and NovaSeq instruments. The instruments are used for wastewater matrix sequencing and are critical to the Wastewater Unit's testing workflow. The service agreement will include preventative maintenance, unplanned repair services, and technical support. The vendor must be the manufacturer of the instruments, as they have the specialized knowledge and certified engineers required to perform the necessary maintenance and repairs. • The service agreement will be for a term of 5 years, starting from July 31, 2026, and ending on May 27, 2031. • The estimated dollar amount for the life of the project is $275,000. • The vendor must provide liability insurance for the work performed under the service agreement. • The CDPHE has determined that this is a sole source procurement, as the vendor is the only entity capable of providing the necessary service and maintenance for the instruments.
