Description
The City of Palm Springs is seeking qualified plumbing contractors to provide on‑call maintenance and installation services for its public facilities. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience, hold a current California Class C‑36 contractor license, and be able to respond to standard requests within 48 hours and emergencies within 24 hours. The contract is structured as a three‑year base term with two optional one‑year renewals, and two lowest‑responsive bidders will be awarded separate task‑order contracts serving both Public Works and Parks & Recreation departments. All work is performed on a time‑and‑material basis, with unit rates for labor categories and marked‑up rates for parts, equipment, and subcontractors; bonds and insurance are required for task orders over $25,000.
