Description
The Town of Stoughton is seeking bids for Phase 7 Water Main Improvements. The project involves replacing approximately 900 ft of 2” cast iron pipe with new 8” ductile iron main, as well as other replacements and improvements to the water main system. The successful bidder will be required to complete the work within 180 calendar days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed, excluding final paving. The bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified, treasurer's or cashier's check, bid bond, or cash in the amount of 5 percent of the value of the Bid. The successful Bidder must also furnish 100 percent Construction Performance Bond and 100 percent Construction Payment Bond.
• Replacement of approximately 900 ft of 2” cast iron pipe on Pearl Place with new 8” ductile iron main
• Replacement of 700 feet of 2” and 1.5” ductile iron pipe on Bay Road and Westwood Road with new 6” ductile iron main
• Replacement of 580 ft of 4” CI main on Talbot Street with new 8” ductile iron main
• Replacement of 280 ft of 2” cast iron pipe on Bell Street with 6” ductile iron main
• Replacement of 650 ft of 6” CI main on Freeman Street with new 8” ductile iron main
• Replacement of 2,200 feet of 10” ductile iron pipe with 12” ductile iron pipe on Campanelli Parkway
