The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) D2 Office is seeking a certified and insured vendor to perform an “All‑or‑None” fire extinguisher inspection, service, repair, re‑charging, and replacement for fire extinguishers mounted in officers’ vehicles and boats. The work must be completed on a single day (July 28, 2026) between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Rainbow City Recreation Center, with the potential for annual renewals up to five years or a total spend of $25,000. The vendor must submit proof of certification and insurance with the bid and will be evaluated based on the discount percentage they offer on the agency’s standard rates.
• Inspect, service, and replace up to 81 extinguishers (40 × 2.5 lb, 40 × 5 lb, 1 × 10 lb) in compliance with NFPA 10.
• Perform all work on‑site on the specified date and time; future inspection dates will be provided at least two months in advance.
• Provide a discount percentage (unit price entered as $0.00) for repair and replacement line items; vendor must be certified, insured, and able to travel to Rainbow City, AL.
