Description
The State of South Carolina Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a vendor to supply, deliver, install, and remove long‑term‑care hospital beds at three veteran facilities. The contract includes providing new adjustable‑height beds, accessories (assist handles, laminate panels, mattresses), and full removal and disposal of existing equipment. The work must be completed within 120 days of contract award, with delivery to be made within 30 days after receipt of the purchase order. The solicitation is an IFB; the award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• Supply and install 460 new long‑term‑care beds (220 each at two sites, 20 at a third) plus associated accessories.
• Remove and dispose of 460 existing beds and related equipment.
• Provide warranties, manuals, and all required documentation; contractor assumes responsibility for waste disposal.
• Bids must be submitted online; vendor must be registered in the SC procurement system; all taxes are to be omitted from pricing.
