Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking bids for the provision of bread and bakery products for HHSC State Hospitals and State Supported Living Centers. The contract will be awarded on September 1, 2026, and will run through August 31, 2027, with the possibility of renewals. The contractor will be required to provide a warranty and complaint resolution guarantee, and will be responsible for resolving complaints in a timely manner. The contractor will also be required to provide point of contact, cause and effect analysis, corrective and preventive actions taken, and reimbursement or product replacement if agreeable to HHSC.
• The contract will include the provision of various bread and bakery products, including bread, rolls, cakes, cookies, and pastries.
• The contractor will be required to comply with all contractual requirements and to resolve complaints in a timely manner.
• The contract will include a warranty and complaint resolution guarantee.
• The contractor will be responsible for paying associated costs of complaint investigation, including storage costs, HHSC employee costs, and lab testing costs.
• The contract will be awarded based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid.
