Description
The Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board is seeking a supplier to provide document conversion and scanning services. The successful bidder will be required to pick up and drop off files, prepare and scan documents, and provide indexing services. The supplier must also offer quality control services, provide full-text searchable PDF output, and offer secure destruction services. The scope of work includes:
• Pick-up and Drop-off Services: providing services for file transfer to supplier office, maintaining full chain of custody, and providing packing of boxes to supplier location
• Document preparation, scanning, and indexing: removing staples, scanning documents at 300dpi, and providing indexing services for all files
• Requested Files: processing and receiving file requests via email within 4 hours, and providing five record requests per week at no charge
• Shredding Files: providing secure destruction service and coordinating with the Board for shredding or document destruction
