The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Terumo Cardiovascular Systems Corporation for the maintenance of four Terumo System 1 Heart-Lung Bypass Machines at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. The contract will be for a base period plus one option year. The machines are proprietary, and Terumo is the only vendor authorized to perform maintenance on them.
