Fire Barrier Repair Services

The Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking an Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified vendors to provide fire barrier repair services across designated INL facilities. The scope of work may include inspection and assessment of existing fire barriers, repair or replacement of damaged fire-rated walls, doors, and penetrations, application of approved firestop materials and sealants, compliance with NFPA standards and DOE fire protection requirements, and documentation and verification of repairs for quality assurance and regulatory compliance. • The selected vendors may be invited to participate in a Request for Proposal (RFP) process for award consideration. • The Davis-Bacon Act applies for contracts in excess of $2,000 for the construction, alteration, or repair of buildings or works at INL. • Construction work at the laboratory Site covered under the Davis-Bacon Act is additionally subject to the INL Site Stabilization Agreement (SSA). • Interested vendors should submit an Expression of Interest that includes company name and point of contact, description of relevant fire barrier repair capabilities and experience, NAICS codes and business size classification, and any existing DOE or federal contracting experience.
