Description
The City of Santee is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance, repair, and replacement services for doors, roll‑up doors, overhead doors, shutters, and electric gates across multiple municipal facilities, including City Hall, fire stations, parks, and the Operations Center. The work includes routine inspections, preventive maintenance, on‑call repairs (both normal‑hour and emergency), material allowances, and the complete removal and replacement of specified fire‑station apparatus doors. The contract is a one‑year base term with optional extensions and is subject to California prevailing‑wage rules, bonding, and insurance requirements.
• Scope covers preventive inspections, lubrication, adjustment, component replacement, and full replacement of listed door types.
• Labor is billed hourly (normal and emergency rates) with a $6,000 annual material cap for as‑needed repairs.
