Description
The State of Michigan is seeking a contractor to provide HVAC improvements at the Central Michigan Correctional Facility. The project includes the installation of a transient voltage surge suppression (TVSS) system to protect against power surges and spikes. The system must meet specific requirements, including a 10-year warranty and compliance with various industry standards. The contractor will be responsible for installing the TVSS system, providing documentation and testing, and ensuring that the system meets all requirements.
• The TVSS system must be designed and manufactured to meet specific standards, including UL 1449 and UL 1283.
• The system must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and applicable codes.
• The contractor must provide documentation, including an equipment manual and drawings, and perform testing to ensure that the system meets all requirements.
