Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from vendors who can provide backflow maintenance and repair services for the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System. The services include testing, certification, repair, and replacement of backflow prevention assemblies. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the services. The contract will have a tentative period of performance from October 30, 2026, to October 29, 2031.
• The contractor must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in testing, certifying, repairing, and replacing backflow assemblies.
• The contractor must have a C-36 Plumbing Contractors License from the State of California or equivalent.
• The contractor must provide a detailed explanation of how they will ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety standards.
• The contractor must provide a quality control program to ensure that the services are provided in accordance with the contract requirements.
