UTSWMyCare 2.0 - Patient Facing Mobile App

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a strategic development partner to design, build, and sustain a patient‑facing mobile application (UTSW MyCare 2.0) that will serve current needs and provide a scalable foundation for future expansion across the UT System. The vendor must deliver a secure, HIPAA‑compliant solution with robust API‑first architecture, high‑quality UX/UI, and ongoing maintenance and support. • Develop a scalable, extensible, maintainable mobile app (iOS/Android) with API‑first design, CI/CD pipelines, and observability. • Provide comprehensive UX/UI, personalization, AI‑assisted search, Section 508 accessibility, and patient‑engagement features. • Ensure healthcare integration, HIPAA compliance, SOC 2 reporting, VPAT, TX‑RAMP certification, and deliver a dataflow diagram. • Supply a transparent pricing model that anticipates potential multi‑institution use across the UT System. • Include governance, staffing, delivery methodology, knowledge‑transfer plans, and strategies to minimize vendor lock‑in.
