Description
The Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to perform a single preventive‑maintenance (PM) visit at each of its county office locations during the July 1 – September 30 2026 window. The work includes filter replacement, coil cleaning, electrical and mechanical inspections, water‑treatment reporting for water‑cooled systems, documentation (photos, inspection forms, certificates), and any minor repairs that can be quoted and approved before the September 30 deadline. Only contractors who attended the mandatory site‑visit in Round 1 are eligible to bid, and all work must be completed within the defined service window.
• Perform one full HVAC PM inspection per DHR site between 07/01/2026 and 09/30/2026.
• Replace/clean filters, clean coils, check refrigerant charge, verify electrical/mechanical components, and document with before/after photos.
• Submit completed inspection forms, water‑treatment reports, and obtain written PO approval for any repairs; all repairs must be finished by 09/30/2026.
• Contractors must hold Alabama HVAC, refrigeration, and master gas‑fitter licenses, plus universal EPA Section 608 certification, and must follow DHR sign‑in and appointment procedures.
• No major equipment replacement, demolition, or structural work is permitted.
