Replacement of 2 Geothermal Units at Malabar State Park Visitor's Center.

The State of Ohio is seeking qualified contractors to replace two existing geothermal heating/cooling units at the Malabar State Park Visitor’s Center. The scope includes removal of the existing units, site preparation, installation of new geothermal heat pump systems, integration with existing building HVAC infrastructure, testing, commissioning, and providing warranty documentation. This RFQ is open for bidding on a “lowest responsive and responsible” basis, with a submission deadline of October 1, 2026. The project will support the park’s sustainability goals and improve visitor comfort. • Replace two geothermal units (including removal, disposal, and installation). • Provide complete mechanical integration, controls, and commissioning. • Deliver warranty, operation manuals, and training for park staff. • All work must comply with State of Ohio procurement policies and applicable building codes. • Contractor must be able to complete the work within the contract period and provide post‑installation support.
