The selected respondent will be responsible for evaluating potential sites, recommending suitable locations, furnishing and installing Level 3 charging equipment, completing related electrical and site improvements, obtaining permits, and coordinating with utility providers. The respondent will also operate and maintain the charging stations, provide customer support, submit usage and revenue reports, and propose a revenue-sharing arrangement with the City. Budget estimate

$1,000,000 – $10,000,000

The budget for this project can be estimated based on the revenue-sharing model proposed by the respondent. Assuming an average revenue share of 20% for the City, and an average annual revenue of $100,000 per charging station, the total revenue for the City over the 10-year contract period could be around $2 million, depending on the number of charging stations installed and the actual revenue generated. The respondent's budget would be the remaining 80% of the revenue, which could be around $8 million over the 10-year period. However, these estimates are highly speculative and depend on various factors, including the number of charging stations, usage rates, and revenue-sharing model.
