The University of Maine System is seeking a cloud‑based, enterprise‑grade retail and inventory management solution to replace its current NetSuite system for the University Store locations at the University of Southern Maine and University of Maine Farmington, with an eye toward system‑wide deployment across all UMS campuses. The solution must include POS capabilities, back‑office inventory control, e‑commerce integration, SSO/MFA, accessibility compliance, and the ability to incorporate third‑party vendors while supporting student‑staff involvement. The contract will be awarded on 5 June 2026 with an anticipated start date of 1 July 2026.
• Deliver a fully functional SaaS retail platform (POS, inventory, online store) that can be used at multiple campus locations.
• Provide integration with existing Oracle NetSuite data or replace it, and support SAML 2.0/OpenID Connect SSO and MFA for security.
• Meet WCAG accessibility standards and Maine information‑security requirements; include training, implementation, and ongoing support.
• Must be an off‑the‑shelf product (no major new development) and allow student‑staff participation for experiential learning.
