Rental of Dewatering Equipment for Water Utilities 2025-2026

The City of Lakeland Water Utilities division is seeking a rental dewatering equipment for the dewatering of biosolids at the Northside Treatment facility. The equipment will be used to dewater 2% biosolids into a minimum of 15% solids for transport to landfill. The rental dewatering equipment will be needed for a minimum of 3 months per year for the extent of this contract. The equipment will be operated by plant personnel. • The supplier shall provide a trailer-mounted dewatering system with required 15' high conveyor, variable frequency drives (VFDs), polymer blending and injection, and control system. • The dewatering system shall be designed for continuous 365 day per year, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week operation. • The supplier is responsible for set up, teardown, training, troubleshooting, and any maintenance or repairs as required for running the system for the duration of the rental. • The owner will provide the polymer required for daily operation. • The owner will utilize trained operators to operate the system according to a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and training, both provided by the supplier.
