RFP to Conduct Tenant File Audits and Physical Inspections

The Michigan State Housing Development Authority is seeking a contractor to conduct tenant file audits and physical inspections for its multifamily rental portfolio. The contractor will be responsible for performing file audits and physical inspections in accordance with state and federal regulations. The scope of work includes conducting file audits, physical inspections, and reviewing tenant files to determine compliance with program/project rules and regulations. The contractor will also be responsible for submitting reports and providing training to MSHDA staff. • The contractor will conduct file audits and physical inspections for developments financed or assisted by various programs, including LIHTC, Section 8, and HOME. • The contractor will review tenant files to determine compliance with program/project rules and regulations. • The contractor will submit reports to MSHDA, including file audit reports and physical inspection reports. • The contractor will provide training to MSHDA staff on HUD occupancy requirements and other relevant topics.
