The State of Maryland is seeking proposals for Health Plan Administration and Services for its employees and retirees. The contract will include administration of Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO), Integrated Health Model (IHM), and Point Solution services. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing health plan administration services, including claims processing, customer service, and network management. The contract will have a base period of five years with two optional three-year renewal periods. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing health plan administration services for the State's employees and retirees • Administering PPO, EPO, IHM, and Point Solution services • Processing claims and providing customer service • Managing the provider network • Meeting the State's requirements for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Veteran-Owned Small Business Enterprise (VSBE) participation • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
