On- Call Minor Construction & Repair Services

The County of Lexington is seeking sealed proposals for on-call minor construction and repair services for its Building Services department. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and expertise necessary to perform minor construction and repair services. The services will be performed on an as-needed basis, and the contractor shall provide written scope of work and detailed cost estimates for County review and approval. The contractor shall also conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure that all projects comply with specifications and remain on schedule and within budget. • The contractor shall perform construction, installation, repair, and replacement services, including wood and metal stud framing, drywall installation, finishing, interior and exterior painting, and installation of ceiling grid systems. • The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials to complete the work. • The contractor shall ensure that all work is conducted in a professional manner, with appropriate care taken to protect County property and assets. • The contractor shall coordinate with County Facilities Management and/or designated representatives. • The contractor shall not proceed with any project and/or work without written consent of the County and/or issuance of a valid Purchase Order.
