Towing Services-2026

The City of Troy, NY is soliciting sealed proposals from contractors with the capabilities to provide towing services. The towing services would be for violation of law, impoundment, abandonment, street cleaning, snow removal, seizure, arrest and emergency removal to ensure public safety. The City is interested in selecting up to four (4) contractors that will offer 24 hour a day – 7 days a week towing service. • The contractor shall have a minimum of two (2) flatbed tow trucks and two (2) traditional style tow trucks. • The contractor shall have a 24 hour per day – 7 days a week, six foot (6’) fenced and secured lot located within the boundaries of the City of Troy. • The contractor shall have proof of valid registration, inspection and vehicle insurance for each vehicle in the fleet. • The contractor shall have proof of licensed drivers (must be licensed in New York State). • The contractor shall be able to electronically receive and submit forms and invoices on site. • The contractor shall be able to provide all necessary professional services as well as all necessary material, equipment and personnel required to complete the Scope of Work in this RFP.
